Notice Regarding Motorized Vehicle Use at the Gathering Place
Dear Sterling Ranch Residents,
We are reaching out to ask for your help in protecting the recently completed improvements at the Gathering Place.
It has been observed that individuals are riding electric motor bikes and other motorized vehicles on the turf and landscaped areas within the park. These activities are causing damage to community amenities that were installed for the enjoyment of all residents. These bikes may also cause damage to plants, irrigation, soil, and other landscape materials. Repairs are expensive, and those costs are ultimately paid by every homeowner through community funds.
The Gathering Place represents a significant investment in our community, and we want to ensure it remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
Motorized vehicles are not permitted on turf, landscaped areas, or other amenities not specifically designated for their use.
To help address this issue, cameras are in place in the area and additional monitoring efforts are being evaluated. While identifying responsible individuals can be difficult, we ask parents and guardians speak with their children about respecting community property and following park rules.
We appreciate the vast majority of residents who use the park responsibly and help make Sterling Ranch a great place to live. By working together, we can prevent unnecessary damage and avoid costly repairs that impact the entire community.
